I have just been given the bad new that there may not be any motor sport events held at Longcross this year, as the venue has been taken over by the film companies, so keep an eye on this website for information as to if the events will take place or not

NVQ in Spectator Safety
Some of you will be aware that back in the later summer, Bob took and past an NVQ in spectator safety, the course was free, and the good news is that it is being run again and it still free, they even pay travelling money, although the course is aimed at those who want to get involved with helping on the 2012 games, there is no commitment to do this or any other event, in fact there are no strings attached at all! The format has changed slightly since Bob did his, you can now do the two days training for witch you get a certificate and then chose if you want to continue to the third day and get the full NVQ. click here for a full details

Brean Stages
I have been told by their event chief marshal that things are still in the planning stage and due to all the politics involved in the 2010 event, they have only lust applied for a permit to run the event, so it is lightly to be the end of December or even early in January before there will be any information available on caravans etc.

Longmoor Loco
It looks like the Longmoor Loco is as poplar as ever this year, the event which will be held at Longmoor near Borden in Hampshire on Monday 28th Dec, only published their regs less than 24 hours ago, and the entry list is already over half full. I you would like to see the entries so far click here. Its nice to see this full throttle approach, after the very much flaps down approach for the Bushman.

Tempest Rally
Last weekend saw our last forest rally for 2009, which was of course The Tempest Rally held each year in the woods and forests around the Farnborough and Aldershot areas, click here for full report.
Wugging Stages
This was the second of the two events we marshalled at Colerne Airfield this year, it was held last Saturday, 15th August, once again we had a good size team for the event, click here for full report.
