Well Rallye Sunseeker is all over for another year. The team behind the event would like to pass on their thanks to everyone who came out on this year’s event to marshal. As always we had very good support with 856 signed on in the stages and over 1150 for the event as a whole. Sadly it is not possible for me to thank everyone so if you are able to pass on this letter to others you know or print it in your club news letter.
This year’s event for the first time in my involvement saw the stoppage of two stages. The Friday evening seafront stage due to car 20 accident and the final 2 Saturday stages as a result of a suspected heart attack of a spectator. Both incidents were dealt with very well by the marshals on the scene and drew praise from the MSA steward.
On the whole the weather was kind to us and I hope you all enjoyed your day. I look forward to welcoming you all back next year
